Default Windshield interchangeability
I'm one of the lucky riders who gets good wind protection from my stock windshield. I have a chance to pick up a like new windshield from another local rider who wasn't so lucky. Would the windshield from a 2012 dl1000 fit on my 2006 dl650? Thanks much in advance. BTW, I hope anyone affected by Sandy is doing OK.

The '12 Vee has different mounting holes than the '12 Wee?

The '04-'12 Vee has the same stock windshield as the '04-11 Wee. The '12 Wee is a totally different windshield design and is not compatible with the prior model Wee or current Vee.
