Default Michelin Pilot Road 3 Trail rear tire availability?

Hi Guys,

I desperately need new tires and have picked the PR3 Trail tires. I have the front tire already, but nobody seems to have the rear Trail model in stock! What the heck? Any suggestions for who might still have one for sale?

My PR3s were bought from a smaller mail order retailer but shipped to me from one of the big wholesalers...Parts Unlimited in this case. There are so many tire sizes and models that many outfits don't carry stock. If the wholesalers and the Michelin warehouse don't have them, there aren't any to be had. Dennis Kirk's web site shows that they do have five of the non-Trail rears. Grab one. Or, telephone the Michelin customer service number and ask if they know when a shipment is due to arrive.

Got my PR3 Trails from Parts Unlimited. To date, I've not had any out-of-stock issues with this vendor. Your mileage may vary.

Just ordered a pair of the trails from Jake Wilson. $283.00 and they have more in stock. I'll have them by Thursday next.

Looks like you got the last one. He's out of stock too. I definitely want to get a trail version though, as I do carry a passenger pretty often, and the heavier compound on the back would be nice to have.

Check with Cycle Gear, they should be able to order one from Tucker.

They make PR2's in that size, it's a bit cheaper too.
Almost put a PR2/PR3 combo on recently but I went with the Battlewings.
I got 13K out of a PR2 on the back of my FJR!
