Didn't even know it was called a bar end till I dropped the expansion nut down into the handlebars.

It's not in the owner's manual either...

This site saved me again. I saw the previous posts and had it out within 20 minutes. Most of the time was spent bending stuff into shape that eventually pushed the nut further into the handlebars. Then I just layed the bike on it's side and blew it out.
