Anyone have actual experience with this system?
I am curious to see how well the mike system really performs.

I don't care about intercom capabitlities too much, I ride alone usually, but I do want to be able to make phone calls, listen to the iphone and GPS.

very nice system. The mic and earphones work well........but....I wear foam earplugs and with earplugs in, the volume is not adequate(for me). If you wear foam earplugs for maximal protection, it would be good if you could test before buying(not easy). Oh yah, uClear is making earbuds which still contain the mic(in the cord). This would probably work for me, but more of a PITA

I bought one of these systems at the advice of a friend and am not disappointed. It connects well with my Droid X and I use it to listen to music occasionally and receive phone calls.
The mike system works well as most people don't even realize I'm on the bike. I recommend it.
