Interconnecting Gerbings and Firstgear Heated Gear?

I picked up a jacket liner and dual heat-troller today at a black friday sale... I'm wondering whether it's possible to plug gerbings insoles and/or gloves into my firstgear equipment, directly, or with an adapter, or not at all?

I'm hoping to ask for a set of the heated gloves for Xmas, and possibly a pair of insoles (I've been exceedingly well behaved this year.) I just want to know whether it's a problem to have the two systems play on the same rig, or whether they have issues working together. I think the Gerbings gloves have better protection, for instance, but much prefer the remote heat-troller setup, along with the split wiring for jacket/gloves/pants that firstgear uses.

Any advice, as always, much appreciated.

I run Gerbings insoles and a FirstGear jacket on separate circuits from a FirstGear dual Heat-Troller. I use the long Y cable that was included with the insoles. The coax connectors are standardized and no other adapter is needed. I have not tried connecting the Gerbings insoles to the FirstGear jacket to run them on a common circuit but I have no reason to doubt it would work.

I have Gerbing from hands to toes. I have the jacket/pants, top and bottom liners, gloves and socks. I have both single and dual controls. I was nervous about the gloves not holding during spirited riding so I bought some First Gear heated gloves with knuckle protection.
I plug them into the Gerbing system..and..they suck.... they don't heat up much at all. Not even close to the heat of the Gerbings. Now I only wear them when the weather is in the 60's and I don't need heat.
I am still nervous about the Gerbing gloves not providing adequate protection if I slide, but the warmth ruled out.

Warm n Safe makes First Gear products. Heated Gloves Specs indicates their Ultimate gloves are 3 season gloves, not for deep winter. I have the old Rider Classics and they get plenty warm but don't have armor.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A is just getting started.

I'm not really so concerned about specific advantages of different brands for different bits of gear... I do know that I happen to prefer the fit of the gerbings I've tried on, but definitely way prefer certain things about the controller and jacket for warm and safe.

What I'm just trying to make sure of is that plugging one directly into another (gerbings insoles directly into a splitter from the firstgear/w&s jacket or similar with gloves) or whether that causes a problem. Someone I spoke to said they had had issues... wanted to see whether that was still the case with newer gear.

I have Gerbing socks while my other gear is Warm n Safe. They use the same plugs. I've had no problems.
