Default footpeg options?

the rubbers on my footpegs are beginning to get torn up and loose, especially on the kickstand side

wondering what others have been doing for footpeg replacment or maybe I'll just replace the rubbers

I have a set of IMS super stock pegs I bought used on here for $35.

Much wider than stock so more comfortable standing, no rubber (like dirt bike pegs) so better in the rain and mud, all around better option I think.

Default d2 moto

I bought those same klr pegs from d2moto. it was less than $20 because the had free shipping at the time. they are good if your boots ever get muddy.

Default pegs

the fastways are beautiful if you want to spend money and go through the making them fit stuff. lots of non slip surface for relaxing on the pegs long distance, and great for standing up.grinding down the bushing to fit between the frame bracket is minor. finding camber adjusting screws was my other issue.please don't ask for pictures.

the klr pegs ARE NOT what I'm looking for, I do not wear motorcycle specific boots, the soles of my Wolverines have fairly deep cleats, but something similar in size/shape but uncleated surface (mini floorboard) I would consider

If you are wearing Wolverines stay with rubber pegs. I bought Fastways for my GSPD. It was just horrible when I wore my RedWing steel toe boots.
The sole is very rigid. Incredible pain in ankles, knees and hips. I switch to a boot with a more flexible sole..Roadgear. Problem gone immediately.
I really liked my Red Wing Boots.

I also reccomend the fastway pegs. I just put a pair of the F5 model on the Wee and love them. I've had them on my WR250R for almost 2 years, and everytime I rode that bike, I wanted them for the strom. As others have mentioned, you have to grind down the collars, but it's no big deal. It takes about 5 minutes with a Dremmel. These are definitely an offroad type peg, so they may not be what you're looking for.
