wrong place to post, there's a for sale section somewhere; it's easy to find.
nice bike though.

Duck...you idiot. He's not offering it for sale. He's asking if the deal he has working is a good deal. What's the matter with you anyway?
BTW the reference to you being an idiot is just my sense of humor...we're not supposed to attack one another here.

Edit. Oh yeh the deal sounds about right, depending...if anything you might be giving a little too much.

And Duck, sorry but I do think you are an idiot. Or something.

That's a pretty bike. Too bad that I have an 03 or we could talk. Heck, it's even yellow!

Uh, there's a picture of the bike, there's a price, it says he wants to trade for an 05 vee, it's his first post...
It really looks like a "for sale" ad; you'd have to be an idiot to be taken in by the feeble attempt at dissimulation.

Sure I was rough on him, and it wasn't humour, just knocking on a door and saying "hey, i got this thing for sale" is rude.
At least introduce yourself first, say what you like about stroms, ask a few windshield questions first...

Quit being so obsessed with thinking I'm an idiot. The OP's post is misplaced, and I pointed it out. I even tried to be nice about it by editing my post and saying the bike was nice. There's just no pleasing some of you...

Any deal is fair as long as both parties are happy with the result! If you want, you can compare values on nada.com, but again, if you get the bike you really want, and the other guy does too, who cares?

Sent you a PM.

at the risk of pissing off the duck, you might wanna say more about your bike. actual mileage, luggage (top case?) ... looks like it has bar risers, etc.

sweet looking bike. i'm not in the market but wouldn't be surprised if someone else is. you might also check out craigslist/ebay, if you haven't already.

You could probably find a year or two newer Vee for an even trade...like you said the market is tough right now. Good luck, I am sure you will find someone willing to deal.

BTW Nice Beemer!
