100k

Well it's been over 8 years since I crawled on the new ' 08 dl1000. Finally broke 100 K in 12/16. It now has 101,642. Thank the Lord for a moderate winter here in Tennessee. Think I'll ride it till the wheels fall off after reading of Kith's 464K trecks.

That's a pretty good milestone. I'm on track with you, with 31,000 miles in a little over two years (assuming I hang onto this bike long enough to make it to your milestone). It cracks me up that I have that many miles on my bike, but I've only put about 8000 on my car in the same time period.

I've got 9500 miles to go for the 100K mark but taking care of wifey means it may be a while before I see the turn over.
My stupid BMW1100RT-P got stuck on 99999. I was so disappointed. Wah!
Everyone else ride on!

I'm 66 and feel every bit of it. This 100k comes after 274k on BMW K Bikes from '87 to 2008. Over 500k from 13 years old up to present on brand X's, Sears scooter, Bridgestone 175, 450 Honda, 73 HD SHOVEL, 750 Suzuki Waterbuffalo, Yamaha XS 11 special. Totaled two of those and walked away. It's been great. Hang on young pups. 😇

This made me smile. A big giant stupid smile thinking about things to come.

I only rode for 4 summers, looking forward to my 5th!
