Press and hold down both the select and adjust buttons with the ignition on until the minutes start to flash.
Then press the adjust button the change the minutes. Press select to change to hours then press adjust again to change the hours.

I think that's right...............

1. Find owner's manual

2. Find section labeled "Clock" within first few pages of owner's manual

3. Follow directions

4. Bring to dealer if unsuccessful with steps 1-3.

J/K. I couldn't resist.

There is a FAQ, but it's VSRI's. http://vstrom.info/faq/index.php?sea...&action=search says Electrical: Clock: How to set? ...
Content: Turn the ignition to on.Press and hold BOTH buttons for what seems like forever. Push the left button slightly ahead of the right button. Eventually ...

That's the key ingredient, I fought setting the clock for 30 minutes the first time I tried to reset it. Dumbas luck I pushed the left button first and it worked. Then I wondered how the hell would you know to do that? I went back and reread the manual and it made no mention of it.

I followed the manual also........didn't work. The key is indeed to push the left button first.
