Yep, because the oil filling port on a Euro breed machine is tiny with a shelf, with a 1/4" hose from the reservoir (quart 90wt oil ), I fill one of the four quarts needed and just walk away for a bit.
For this one, I just make the hole in the cap a little too small. So once I get the hose in there, the tubing just presses against the cap and creates a seal.
On my old 2004 I used one of these to refill/top-up the coolant except I used a funnel taped to a hose, assuming this is just a bottle with a hose attached.
Drill a hole and feed in the tube then push in a barb from the opposite side.
This will enlarge the tube and seal the hole, the barb and tube can be removed again for easy cleaning.
A some times I keep the tube and cap but throwaway the bottle, just use a new one next time.
If you use a longer barb the tube can be looped back onto it's self to keep things clean and for easy storage.
