Bought it in may put 9600 miles on it already.

I assume it's for the miles you did in 2015, not the total miles on your bike, it's not exactly clear in the first post.

I figure that as I only bought it about 6 weeks ago my mileage would be of no consequence.:serious: It's got just over 2600klms on it now so by this time next year I could be in the high 20,000's I hope.:laugh2:

Only about 2200 this year. A very late start for me due to a broken collar bone and subsequent surgery (11 screws, steel plate) and I didn't want to risk it prior to late June. Not that I don't love taking risks. (I'd ride a fat Harley if I didn't)

I'm over 25,000 miles of riding for the year on my Stroms and suspect there is still some nice riding to be had before year end.

(I'm not counting the riding I'm doing right now in Arizona on a Harley Road King.)

If you go to "general V-strom discussion" forum and scroll down you will see the numbers of replies and views on the right hand side. At least from a PC you can.:wink2:

bought my 650 sept 5 2015. +-2100 on it now. before i retired 7 yrs ago i was riding nearly 13K/year for the 12 years i had been mc'ing. LOL, now it's 8-9K/yr. two grandkids take up a little time, especially if you're providing daycare. no regrets, though. don't make me post pix....LOLOLOL.

Over 30,000 miles for 2015. Typically I ride around 25,000 miles per year. This year I wanted to ride in every state & Canadian province. Didn't get to Hawaii & missed a few of the provinces. Hopefully I'll get to those next year.

Slow year for me, injured both shoulders, tore up the right shoulder again, and then tore a rotator cuff muscle that won't heal working on a stubborn transmission bolt on a car. Taught me to use the impact wrench more and breaker bar less. Did less than 5K this year, sucks getting older and more frail. Haven't kayaked or done much on the bicycle either. At least I can ride locally, just hurts to wear a motorcycle jacket, especially taking it off.

Got one long ride in before I had my bad injury, rode up to Watkins Glenn and saw the falls in NY. Rode the BRP and Cherohala and N GA, so at least I did have an extensive trip in before my shoulder tore again, already separated it on that trip though. Nice and painful with a separated collar bone, but it was so nice seeing NY and PA in the spring.

I like to ride about 10,000 miles a year for fun, but health issues have slowed that down. My best ever was about 20K riding to work and taking trips, I actually parked my truck and only rode two bikes for most of that year. One good ride out west can put 8K on, its not hard when your having fun...
