Default Totally Tubular Tool Tube

I wish I could remember where I bought these. All I remember is that it is an operators manual storage tube for a tractor or other piece of agricultural equipment.

The yellow markings come right off with some acetone. The tubes have mounting flanges with a single hole. Zipties are the new ductape so I used them to mount it inside the luggage rack.

The cap unscrews with a couple of turns and it has an o-ring seal. It is super handy!

It looks like it was made for the bike! If you ever remember where they came from please post.

Thanks,

That is sweet! I'll take 2...if we ever figure out where to get them.
I'm still trying to figure out the cryptographs??
I think it says - 1. tube is on fire 2. pick up tube and look at it 3. set tube down, it is on fire.

I just walked over to the John Deere dealership across the street and ordered that very tube. It's about 3.25" id and about 12" long $9

Funny thing is he said they come with a lot of the tractors but the customers don't want them so they get tossed in the trash and he normally has one laying around. Thanks for posting those pictures!

Deciphered it!

1. Remove the Friggin' Manual
2. Read the Friggin' Manual
3. Put back the Friggin' Manual

Good words to live by.

That is a cool tube, though.
