I wear RayBans (with prescription lenses). The temple and ear-pieces (don't know what they're called) are made of some fairly soft rubberized material and the ends are not pre-bent but pretty straight and flat. I can wear these under my full helmet for 8 hours and not even notice i'm wearing them.

Maui Jim with prescription lenses. Spring-loaded temples help save 'em when trying to jam into my non-modular full-face helmet; my other modular helmet allows me to leave 'em on when I put it on.

One thing I've noticed: polarization may not be the best option when using a large windscreen and a face shield. I get a fair amount of color distortion looking through both when wearing my polarized shades. Doesn't really obscure anything, but is sort of annoying.

The LCD displays can also be hard to read due to the polarized lenses - I have to shift my head up/down to read the clock or odo sometimes.

If you don't have a supplier, we've had good luck with this place:

I use oakley half-jackets. I have a polarized lens for driving or walking around. A medium brown tint for riding. I also have a hi-intensity yellow for the winter months when I'm commuting at dusk/dawn and it gets dark

Tifosi www.tifosioptics.com I have the "Czar" with prescription brown tint polarized lenses. Very comfortable, rap around style so I can ride with the face shield up or on the PWC keeps the wind from drying out the eyes. I wear them with a dark face shield and have no issue viewing through it and wind screen. I have no issue reading GPS either.

Fine people to work with.

If you're looking for optics/clarity then "Scheyden"
Ya they cost a lot, but you tend to take better care of them.

Randolph aviators are very good also, grey lens/bayonet temple, easy to wear with your helmet on. Still regular Mil issue but look a bit dated.

Btw, grey is the only lens that doesn't change or distort colors. Just something to keep in mind for you "fashionistas" that have cool colored lenses

I also visit the local safety store from time to time. I have used sunglasses from expensive to cheap and many manufactures but the ones at the safety store are incredibly reasonably priced, fit inside the helmet and have fairly good optics. And as mentioned earlier, they are give aways or disposable. I believe that the lenses built to government standards will turn a .30cal bullet.

Grey doesn't distort, but brown distorts in useful ways. Stop sign red and schoolbus yellow kind of jump out at you.

I'm an old coot and wear bifocals. The eye glasses thing is getting to be expensive.

First I tried riding with my regular glasses that had magnetic clipons. The clipons blew off. So I bought a pair of ugly RayBans with prescription lenses. They work great but I look like a fool if I wear them outside my full face helmet. Then I got caught out after dark and tried to wear my regular glasses. The helmet mangled the light weight frames. So I bought another pair of not-quite-so-ugly RayBans with clear lenses for dark riding. They work great. But now I have to juggle 3 pairs of glasses.
