POI Files for your Garmin

Finally got my Suzuki Dealer POI complete. This should be every Suzuki motorcycle dealer in the US. The ones that have PO Box use their zip code for the coordinates so they won't be very accurate. Copy the csv file and bmp file below to your Garmin POI directory.

Unfortuenately I had to get the data from Suzuki's Dealer Locater, so it goes on the crap-in crap-out principle. Actually some that are not boxes weren't found either, so I had to just go based off of the zip. Here is the list of the ones that were done based off of zip. If someone knows a better address, or event better the GPS coordinates for me let me know them and I will update them.

Hey NovaStrom. Great idea. I could have used those while trying to find a dealer in the Miami-Key West FL area last week while tracking down a rear tire on my trip.

Our site was a great help. I posted a note about my situmation in the Florida Troopers section, and RodK had a list of dealers for me in the area, and I was able to get a new tire.

This whole technology thing sure is neat!

Your only SOL with adding POIs. Turn your 2620 on and play with it some. Get to know it a bit and you will find you have a list of POI in it.
I don't remember the the category but I think your looking for Marine or Power Sport for your look up cat,.

Or you can keep the 1-800 for Suz and call them.. AMA has helping hands. One call to the AMA hotline and you get #'s of people on the list wiling to help you. You need to be on the list to get help tho. Good list to be on tho I've never got a call asking for help..

Motow is good to have to. But the DL is a good bike so just ride and forgetaboutit..
