Perhaps there is somebody here who is as dumb as I. I hate buying hardware and software that is not plug and play. I do not have the time or interest to frig with stuff. Normally, I am a nice guy. I just hate frigging with computers.
I sent an email to customer support. I am sure that I am unique. If you have the same configuration and can guess how I am screwing this up, please let me know.
I purchased MapSend Topo Canada yesterday. The vendor told me it was compatable with the Explorist 500. The program will not run. I have tried both disks inserted to no avail for four hours. I am very frustrated. I have the recipts for the software and the Explorist. I want to return both. This should work easily.
Again, the program will not launch.
I have updated the software for the Explorist 500 from your website, this makes no difference.
If MapSend Topo Canada is not compatable with the Explorist 500, I will return both as your vendors do not seem to know their products. If it is compatible, I want to know why it is so complex to make a program work.
I am very frustrated.
MapSend will not launch with the GPS attached or not. It will not run from the desktop. It will not run from the auto run. It will not run from the mapsend manager.
I have a new computer.
I am tired of paying hundreds of dollars for software and hardware for which I must contact Customer Suport to use.
I will check my email tomorrow and I will attempt to phone during your normal business hours.
I am sure I am making some stupid mistake. However, stupid people should be able to run your products with ease, there are a lot of us.
