Tooling down I405 through Kirkland, WA, yesterday, was a bright yellow DL650 with a logo and the words "Deutsche Bank" emblazoned across the tank.
Was this you?
Stan.

Must have been a custom paint job. They never made a yellow 650 AFAIK.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I've seen quite a few standard-paint-job stroms around, but the yellow 650 was eye-catching. Not that I'm about to go out and paint mine. Blue's a far superior color.
Um, oops! Mirage, your 1000 is yellow, isn't it?
Stan.

Yes, and despite your vain attempt at prejudice, we in the SSYSO (http://www.ssyso.com/gallery/main.php) know the REAL truth, and are content to allow those less enlightened to beleive otherwise ;)

Mirage,
I am humbled in your very presence! I had no idea there was a whole secret society of 'you people'. If you notice, however, my attempt was made all the more vain by my almost instantaneous backtracking.
Hopefully, yours is a society of owners of yellow stroms. Not a society of people who own stroms and who are also yellow.
Is the SSYSO kind of a twelve-step program? The first step towards recovery is admitting you have a problem. "Hi, my name is Bob, and I have a yellow strom."
I know of no society, secret or otherwise, of owners of blue stroms. I guess we, as a body of owners, don't feel the need to recover from anything. Just a thought.

LOL, you may be on to something there Stan, and if so, then I think we in the SSYSO are all stuck at the first step, Denial ;) Or was it admiting a problem...hmm, nah, that couldn't be right :-P

SSYSO, neat group. How did you find them...or did they find you? I always thought that Strommers were unique in general, now we have a unique group within Stromdom. I like it. I suspect there is a relatively small group of "Lightning Blue" 6fifties, 06 was the only year. SSLBSO. Somehow, it doesn't look as nice as SSYSO.

Saw something about them on the "other" forum. Linked over and made my self at home.
Hmm, I hope I wasn't supposed to ask permission ;)

SSYSO - that's hysterical!
The "Lightning Blue" must be what I saw on B'side a couple of weeks ago - I saw a 650 pulling onto SW Barnes just below Miller Rd last week but i was a few cars back in line and couldn't see colors, etc.

I followed and basically shadowed a dl1k from somewhere a little north of Eugene all the way to his turning off on I205 at Tualatin. California plates, noon-2pm. Anyone claiming?
I also saw two different V's earlier in the week in NW PDX - one on 23rd and another plastered with AlCan5000 stickers parked at the pub on 28th and Thurman... WhoDat?
