I just switched from a KLR 650 to an 05 V . I am looking forward to riding with other v strommers. All I can say about going from the KLR to the V is, WOW! Don`t get me wrong ,the KLR is GREAT. I wish I could have kept it, but I just can`t afford both of them without selling some of my other valued toys.

There is an adventure ride in JUnction the end of April. Looks like it appeals to Strommers and KLR riders. See here (http://www.texasadventure.net).

Also, check into Two Wheeled Texans (http://www.twtex.com/) to pick up some local riders.

Looks like we may try for a V-Strom-only BBW run to have an excuse for a ride. We have gone to Hammonds BBQ in Glen Rose in the past. Hard 8 in Stephenville is an option. Dunno if you are up for that long a day trip, we may just have to check out Coopers in Llano some time!

There has to be a good place somewhere in central Texas...
