I just bought my first bike in 10 years to ride with a buddy who has a GS1150. Its an 03 Suzuki DL1000 VStrom. I got a great deal on the bike off EBay and love it. Problem is I had it for 9 days and fallen off 3 times. Twice I was practicing riding real slow and weaving through the cones for my test. Basically I fell over at a stand still. Tonight I finished the longest ride I've ever been on and had a great time. Diesel waves bye and not 60 seconds later I'm sliding on the road. I was trying to U into my drive ( I live on a corner) and it looks like I found some of that oil goo that comes up in the heat. I did order a complete head to toe set of Joe Rocket gear the day I picked up the bike and I'll be really glad when it gets here! I never had a problem in the 2 years I rode a Honda CM400 when I was in the Air Force.
