An Event to consider......

I (we, my wife and I) am planningto attend the Americade Rally this coming June. Website www.tourexpo.com
We are planning on leaving Friday the 2nd, night after work (5:30 ish) or so. The dates of the rally are June 5th thru the the 9th. I'm planning on 3 days to get to Lake George and 3 days back. Distance from New Smyrna is about 1500 each way. We are meeting (planned ) another group in Pittsburgh and riding up to Lake George in one day from there. Thanks, JRShaw, for pointing out something that would be great fun.

I looked under the category "camping" for a place to erect my simple tent, and I found all sorts of places wanting $30 per night for the cheapest campsite.

Is there no provision for tenters who need only 100 square feet, a way to a washroom, and the occasional shower?

these are local to Lake George and you should be able to make reservations .
