Tapered bar conversion

Has anyone used the adapter clamps to go from 7/8" bars to 1'1/8" bars. I was thinking that in combination with an ATV bend would be great. I'm 6'5" and find the riding position to be a little low. I think that tapered bars would git rid of the bar flex that I have had. Thanks!

Rox risers and Protaper Raptor atv bend bars. No flex and very little vibration.
As far as it could go with stock cables and not hit anything.
