I'm not to far away, Enumclaw. Maybe when the weather improves some a ride can be put together. I think there is at least 5 to 10 members in the Puget Sound area. Only had mine 2 months and love it. Much more comfortable than my Ninja. Welcome.

I use to live in there. Did you buy yours at Enumclaw SKYP? I bought an '03 1000 with some extras at Hinshaw's. I had a sales guy looking for one for me. I bought it in Sept. It's great. I'm coming off a KTM LC4. Riding with other Strom owners would be fun. I visit all the dealers in the PNW so maybe I can increase the numbers thru them.

Andy, I talked with the dealer here, but ended up buying used from Craigs list. Drove to Portland to get it. A well farkled 05 with 4000 miles in mint condition. Its handy though to have a dealer only 1 mile away. Will post up a possible get together here when the weather breaks in the next month or so.

Sounds great. You can also e-mail me at andy.devol@hgnr.com.
Sorry to be a little ignorant but I keep seeing "farkled" in other threads. It means ???
3 newbies. I know there were alot of V-Stroms sold last year. I was looking at them most of the summer and I think every dealer sold out all the '06. They were glad the '07 came in at the end of Sept.

Yeah, the farkle thing threw me at first too. It just means the extras put on after the bike is bought.

oh. I know it as a dice game. The original owner farkled a bit with mine then. Except for putting it down once.
