Ok, I had a 04' Wee for the last year. Loved it, it was just a little bit less engine than I wanted, and the buffetting was killing me, even three windshields and a Madstad later. The seating position was awesome, so I knew I wanted that again, and I loved the weight. That being said, I wanted something different and flashy. I went out and put a deposit on this. It's no Strom, but I can't wait!

No need to justify that bike to us. They are a gorgeous machine. I've checked them out at the local dealer. Could be an option if the big Strom goes the way of the dodo. Congratulations and enjoy. :D

Put some Pirelli Scorpion Sync tires on there and it might be fine for dirt/gravel roads too (same tire used on the Ulysses and Multistrada). I know I'm going to be demo'ing the new Tiger along with the new Multistrada in the spring. And probably re-demo the Ulysses again. You can get Ulys pretty cheap now: under $10K for new/leftover 2006 models if you shop around.

That new Tiger is trying to talk to me too. You did fine. I still like the DL650 and waiting (still) oin my K7ABS to get in, but I'd like to have an ABS version of the new Tiger. I can't justify it yet, but maybe by the time the aftermarket has developed some stuff for it (hard bags from Givi, windscreens etc) I may be ready to change my DL1000 for one of these unless Suzuki puts ABS on the DL1000 next year (doubt it since they could have done that this year).

We need a full ride evaluation. What accessories are you putting on and farkles?

You lucky bastard! There, you've been abused as you knew you would. Can I have a go, can I, huh, huh?:D

Let us know what you think of the new motor.

I was oh so close to buying an 06 955, which I found to be considerably less grunty and more clunky than the V.

LOL, so much for the Wee having "all the power I need" How's the new Tiger? Is it as flickable as the Wee was?

Nice bike, I may end up with one of these in a few years. Please write a review once you put a few miles on her.
