anyone in Kansas

Anyone in Kansas have a V-Strom that they would let me take around the block once or twice? I am really interested in getting one, but cannot find a dealer that has one that I can test drive.
I would return the favor and let you take my virago around the block!

Throw in a hundred dollars and then Maybe we'd give you a chance at riding our strom. Just kidding....

Man at this point, I would consider it! Seems all of the dealers around here do not want to sell one very bad. Most do not let you ride anything. Some have demo bikes, but usually only the 250cc cruisers. Will try another dealer this weekend.

You might want to check if there are any rental outfits in the area with V-Stroms. I travel a lot with my job so I take some holiday time and rent a bike for a few days when I'm near great roads in places like Georgia or Italy. I must admit I have yet to see a place that rents V-Stroms though, but it can't hurt to ask. Your dealer can't even rent you the bike unless they've got rental insurance. In fact, that may be the problem with letting you have a demo ride. I've heard that in some states insurance companies have made rentals and test rides virtually impossible by refusing insurance to places that do it. For example, you can no longer rent in Georgia for this reason, but you can rent in California. If you can make a weekend drive to a dealership in another state, you might be all right.
