Twas the night before Christmas, and all along the sea,
Not a V-Strom was running, not even a wee.
The Stroms were sitting in the garage with care,
In hopes that a rider soon would be there.
The Harley riders were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of the cold danced in their heads.
And mamma in her leathers and I ready for flight.
Had just settled on where to ride this cold winter night
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the desk to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,
Gave lustre to both objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes did see,
But two V-Stroms, a liter and a wee.
With my old lady, all dressed in leather,
I knew in that moment I had to get my chit together.
More rapid than eagles she was out the door,
And both Stroms were idling on the floor.
"Now Lou! now, Rod! now, Tom and Jim!
On, Winnie! On, Vic! on, Bill and Tim!
Straddle the seat, don’t let it stall!
Now ride away! Ride away! Ride away all!
