I went with the Michelin Anakees. Can't wait to try them out. Jackpiner has nothing but good things to say about them.

I'd like to -- busy time of year for me. I've been riding, even if it is from one service call to the next -- and mostly highway.

Enjoy the new sneakers, with the usual caution about slipper new rubber.

Show up at the dealership early and ask if they can do it sooner. This sometimes works.

That's OK with me, what size is your axle nut? I'll bring a socket and torque wrench to adjust your chain properly. (Assuming that the dealer tech might not have done it right.)

Jack, We can ride around and meet Dan in Woodstock, NH

Are you sure you want to ride this far? (silly question?).:D

Woodstock Inn Brewery = Pig's Ear Brown Ale:!:

Around 10:00 in Fairlee? Take a right at the end of the offramp. There is a Mobil sta. straight ahead.

I came up with a suggested route. N.Woodstock to Waterville Valley to Campton to Rumney to Canaan to Lebanon (Rt 89). Sound good? Should be a great ride.:D

Ok, I'll see you both at 1:30 at that brewery. I'll also call Tom in the am when I have a good idea of time. If possible, maybe we can catch each other earlier and further south, otherwise I'll be there as planned.

How are the new tires, Dan?

Tires are FABTABULOUS! They felt a bit squirrely on mud (surprisingly), but otherwise they're geat. I took some fast corners with confidence that my bald Trailwings would've made me nervous of. *sigh* but now it's cold again. I hope to get at least a few more rides in until spring. A ride to VT soon would be great. I could then return the movies jackpiner57 let me borrow (Mondo Enduro and Terra Circa- great vids).

Glad you like the tires Dan. I like them on the 650, but didn't know how they were on the 1000.
