Is the Vee The greatest bike built or not?

Well, here's the proof:

We've been having monsoon rains and typhoon winds the past three days here in Vancouver. My power's just come on after having been out for 40 hours.

And the last three mornings, I've gotten up and thought:

"Nice day for a ride."

I didn't think that way with my last bike.

Ride what floats your boat. Personally, I demo'd a Ulysses (twice), a Vee Strom and a Duc Multistrada within hours of each other. I strongly prefered the Multistrada, but the Uly was cool and still has my interest. The Vee did nothing for me. Nada. Nothing about it spoke to me in any way. Definately less fun in the twisties than the other two bikes. Just my take on it. I really don't care what anyone else chooses to ride. Buy the bike that pushes YOUR particular Fun Button.

I bought a Wee because it's cheap and versatile and manages to handle twisties and dirt roads equally well. Did I mention it was cheap? Add 25 HP and lose 25 pounds and the Wee would be the bike I really want I think. Oh that'd be a liter-sized "all roads" bike that weighs 450 pounds full of gas.

Kind of a "strange poll" Shep! Seems that you have a real burr up your butt about the Wee Strom. No the Vee isn't the greatest bike that has ever been built....that is so subjective. It is a great all around bike, like many others. Don't let 650 owners get under your skin so much, cause it is kinda ugly IMHO.;) Just ride your 1000 and enjoy it, cause you are not alone.:cool:
