My brother is a painter who recently took an interest in motorcycles..
He came with me to the racetrack, took some photos and then created this.

Its Brilliant in person.

His more common works are like these http://www.bayviewgallery.com/artist_23.html
He has paintings in galleries across the nation, but this is something else.

I thought there might be a market for this. not airbrush prints, but Tom Hughes originals..not limited to racetracks of course.

What do you folks thinK??

Thanks for the feedback,
John

Very cool. Original art is not in my budget but I bet the Harley RUBs would snatch up paintings with a Harley theme. Do a search for David Mann for examples that sell to that community.

I think there is certainly a market for it, you just have to find the right place to show them off and get them noticed.

Sideswipe,
at present, 2 sizes are offered
20"x28" $2400 (that is roughly the size of this painting)
16"x20" $1800
It ends up about 1/2 the cost of what a Tom Hughes watercolor would sell for in a gallery...

Different sizes available upon request.

I thought the adventure touring set(I'm #51 in the painting, but i'm also a Wee strom pilot) would be a good bunch to paint... visions of my bikes and I amidst scenic landscapes..
One can send a selection of photos, or a cd for Tom to create the best possible painting. ONe could even pay to have him along on adventures.. a resident painter to capture 2 wheeled exploits.
thanks for the comments, folks,

Torqueman, I will take look at David Manns stuff. Thanks !

Very cool painting... I like how all three riders are at the same angle.
