new michigan stom

Hi all,

I have had my black strom 650 for about three weeks now, and am enjoying it. I am thirty six, and live in northern michigan. Pretty much a beginner to riding. I do have some experience when I was a teen, but...starting pretty much from scratch. Trying to get into a motorcycle safety class, but they book up very early. Anyway, thought I would just introduce myself, looking forward to making new friends.

Congratulations on the new ride. It's great to be on two wheels, isn't it? I'm 31 and when I met my wife about four years ago she owned two bikes and I had never ridden before. She got me into riding. Great girl, eh? She was also good to make sure I learned the basics, so I took an MSF course... excellent way to start. Once the good habits become a part of you, I've found it much more difficult to develop bad ones.

I'm down here around Ann Arbor. Whenever I decide to head up north (which is inevitable now that I have a bike) I'll let you know and we should meet somewhere.
