Just ordered new pipes and am looking into getting the ecm remapped. For those of you that have done it, what settings have worked best for you with aftermarket pipes? I have searched but can't find a solid answer because it seems to vary for each model year. Should I put the pipes on first to see how it runs, then adjust if needed or just assume it will be needed and do it before adding the pipes?

Put your cans on, then make sure your TB's are in sync. See how she runs for a little while. If you know of a dealer that has a Yoshimura box, have them increase idle 1.5% and BOTH low and mid rev ranges to 5%. I have the Leo Vince exhausts with these settings, and TRUST me....you will be running leaner with these exhausts. I get as high as 51 mpg at times, and she runs pretty darn good. The remap helps but "ultimatley" we need a PCIII or Techlusion DFO to make it run darn near perfect. People that stay with the stock system, have excellent results with a remap. Best of luck!!!!
