Anybody put some on. I have givi bars. I am a metal fabricator by trade and could whip some up if I had a few do's & don'ts. :?:

I've got the Givi bars to and would be keen for a set if you want to do a few

Q, just read your blog, bummer dude, I guess you can praise God you're still around to tell the tail! Was your bike insured? When will you be back on the road? Are you goin to make any changes to your "ultimate V-strom" replacement bike?

BTW, if you are riding in those temps and need to wet your clothes it may pay to take a look at my thread on hot weather gear in this aussie forum.

Just trying to locate where pegs would be for comfort with out knees contacting bars would be for me 4" to 5"' below the bars. Anybody done any experimenting?

Thanks for all the good thoughts pilbaralad, but i'm not the one with the broken-ultimate V-Strom. His name is rbertalotto and i sure hope he's alright cause he got his bike crashed pretty badly. My bike is a stock K5 DL650. The only extra thing i have is a set of side bags by givi!

Cheers

Back to fitting highway pegs - Any suggestions on what clamps to use to attach them to the 1" Ø Givi bars. Something not too bulky or heavy or damaging. I am also concidering adapting DL1000 passenger pegs to make them look original if I could come by a pair.
