:evil: Okay, so I finally washed my V-Strom. This is the second time since I owned it (purchased in Spring 2002).
I have "counseled" many motorcyclists on the importance of being very carefull when using a powerwasher to clean motorcycles. Basically, powerwashers can be bad news because they can cut into gaskets without you even knowing it, damage o-rings, peel off paint, etc... But I shouldn't be preaching to the choir here, you all know what I mean.
So here is the deal: I was being very carefull at the local car wash by keeping the spray at least 2 feet away from the bike. Sure enough when I was spraying the engine, a quarter sized area of paint went bye bye when the stream hit the clutch cover area. The paint just blew off, and it is very noticable. I am bummed. :cry:
