 (I like this little guy. Didn't know I had him in me until I bought the V!)
Anyway, was wondering if anyone else has found the "curb feelers" on the bottom of their pegs to be superflous? I have scrubbed the outside toes on both boots a few times cornering, but have yet to hit those little chrome nuts. Interesting feeling to be banking hard, throttling out of turn and feel the toe of your boot scraping.

Heck, I think I'm gonna get some of those "curb feelers" made out of titanium!
This bike is just fun to ride!
Put the ball of your feet on the pegs and then you won't drag them!
Works for me!

Over here we call them 'hero blobs'.
I have watched a friend of mine scrape his recently and he was two up at the time
A bit later in the trip he got it airborne  His female pillion did not seem too impressed as she slapped him round the head once the bike had settled :D :D

 I did that airborne thing a couple of weeks ago with my 24 yr old daughter on the back. Mind you, this is a girl who belives she wants a crotch rocket. well, after we "touched" down she started giving me an earful. about two miles later, after a real sharp left I cracked the throttle intending to impress her with the V's power......and the front end came WAY up. when we got back to the house she asked if my life insurance was paid up, and if she was the beneficiary. She also told me sh'e NEVER gettingon THAT bike again.
LOL, some people just have no sense of adventure. I can't wait to get a skid plate and guards on this thing this winter!

Hey Banjo! We call them hero blobs here in the colonies too! I like to get my whole leg out with my foot square on the ground speedway style!
