Got a new set of boots, which are a be a bit thicker and now find that I have to cram my foot in there at a really uncomfortable angle to shift. Must have blown every second shift on the maiden voyage. Is there a good range of adjustment for the stock lever? Anyone else having this problem? Anyone else fixed it? I noticed a post from member "Mike" back in June where he had his shifter extended 1 inch. Interesting idea.

ot rid of the stock one and ordered one from Toueatech. Mount it on the spindel to give yourself what room you need, is a bit longer then stock.

Yep, fully understand the problem. I've been there.

I wear size 14 boots. Added to that, they are the Icon Armored Boots - quite thick.

What I did was get a friend to help me. I tied the bike down, got on and put my foot where I would to shift. He adjusted the shifter so that it just touched the top of my foot.

Problem gone!

Cost? $000.00!
