2nd Annual Kettle Moraine Field and Forest Ride
Saturday, October 21, 2006
Ride over 70 miles of scenic secondary roads connecting 15 privately owned properties, each with one to five-mile off-road trail loops. New properties have been added to this year’s run!
What: Kettle Moraine Sport Riders dual sport motorcycle ride. Ride any motorcycle you want to ride in the woods, as long it is street legal. There will be paved road sections, so headlight, tail light, brake light, license plate and muffler are mandatory. Note: Loud is bad. 96 decibel limit will be enforced.
Who: Dual Sport enthusiasts with a valid driver’s license.
Where: Ride starts at MidCities MotorSports, 7515 Friendly Drive, West Bend, Wisconsin. (Just north of West Bend, Hwy D exit to Friendly Dr.) Please contact KMSR, via phone or email for information about the event.
Schedule: 7 – 8:30 a.m. Registration
8:45 a.m. Riders meeting
9:00 a.m. First bikes out
9:30 a.m. Last bikes out
12:00 p.m. Lunch on the trail
4:00 p.m. Ride ends at MidCities
4:30 p.m. Dinner
Fees: Entry fees include registration, noon lunch on the trail and dinner on Saturday night. In addition, riders who pre-register receive t-shirt at the start of the run.
Registration fees:
$45 for pre-registration received prior to 10/01/2006 (Includes meals and t-shirt)
$55 at the start (Includes meals; no shirt)
$10 Meal ticket for non participants (Optional)
