Anyone going to the border town Rally - South Australia - just down the road from Eucla?

If you go, say g'day to the BMW club of WA boys for me - esp. Bear or Goldie or Dumbleyung if they are there.
Tell them it's Pie in Washington DC!

I was a member of the BMW club of WA when the border run first started - but I didn't go that year (1976) since I'd crossed the Nullabor in April and was going again in October. Little did I know I was missing the inauguration of a legendary rally. Well, not exactly a rally, it was always called "a meeting" since it was a meeting of east and west - mainly BMW riders, but now includes just about anyone. Even V-strommers by the sound of it!

A touch late to organise things now....
But might need to put it in the calendar for next year.
Sounds like fun, and a nice bit of history to go with it.
Cheers
