Skid Plate Noise Question

I recently purchased a Dan Vesel skid plate and I have noticed that it has made the engine noise more noticable. I think it may have to do with the fact that it mounts directly to the bottom of the engine. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed an increase in engine noise from their skid plate whether it is a Dan Vesel skid plate, SW-Motech, or amotostuff skid plate.

By the way, the Dan Vesel Skid plate is a quality product.

I didn't notice any difference in engine noise.

It's great to be able to use my motorcycle jack with the Strom now too.
