There are several threads going on right now about Stromtrooper get togethers. While a "International Rally" is a dream of mine, it isn't easy to do. A get together for a day is.

Here is how you do it. Pick a day, contact those in your area either via a post in your regional section (I can set up more if needed, just ask) or this (Events) forum.

Have a route set in advance. Have your start time be around 9:00 a.m. to allow everyone to show up. Plan a lunch/gas stop around 11:30. Have your ride continue for about 3 more hours. Have a set place to maybe get a drink (pop, whatever) or a bite and sit around and reflect on the day, bench race, tell lies, etc.

It's really easy to do and can be very rewarding. Good riding, great people, what else can you ask for?

If you organize a large gathering, I will send you a few shirts to giveaway, and stickers when they are available.

What are you waiting for? Set it up! This is your site, have fun.

My ride will be in early October on a Saturday for those that want to come to Indiana.

Hey Howboucha:
Some of us have been trying to stir things up in the Washington/Oregon area. Do you think it be overkill to have a Northwest Region? Might attract more interaction. Thanks for starting such a great (giant) forum. It almost has a life of it's own now. You should be very proud, Dad.

Being from Spokane (Eastern part of Washington:) I would be interested in the spring of '07.

I feel the weather could be a bit dicey as Fall decends and we probably need at least 30 days to publize. I would be happy to discuss and assist in any planning for a WA, ID, OR, BC, Etc. rally in Spring or Summer.

Please contact me at: bozartg@comcast.net

Thanks,

I am in the Seattle area and a rally in the Spring of 2007 sounds good to me. Perhaps we should start a thread in the Northwest forum to see if we can rally up other riders from the area?

Hey don't forget us Idaho folks. I would love to help get it going as well. May is a great time here for riding and it;s before all the vacations start.

Let's do it!
