I've been debating posting this experience on the board for quite some time, but today was the last straw. I bought the Wee from them in May, this was my 5th bike i've purchased from them, not to mention numerous referrals. I bought my Wee from them and they couldn't find the manual or keys. After a few hours of searching, the keys turned up but no manual. I was assured if they didn't find it by the end of the week, they'd order a new one free of charge. Since I haven't had the manual I've been forced to ask questions on the forum that could easily be answered if i had the manual. Since I'm working on installing a Gear Indicator, I have to lift the tank. Another Stromtrooper offered to scan the relevant pages for me and email them. Rather than taking up his/her time, I decided to pay Motorcycle Mall a visit. I got my manual, oh yes, I got it 29 dollars later! It seems the salesman (who also threw himself at my fiancee, but that's a whole other story) managed to lose the paperwork that said I was owed the manual. Sigh. Rather than fight it out, I forked over my 29 dollars. One might ask why I would even bother purchasing the manual from this place after my negative experience buying the bike in the first place. Well, the answer is, they were the only dealership within 90 miles that had an 06 Wee in stock (at the time I purchased), and they were in the ONLY dealership in NJ and NYC that had the manual in stock (funny how that worked out, right?) so I was caught between a rock and a hard place. I asked to speak to the owner of the dealership and he says "Listen buddy, I'm in the business to make money not give to charity. If you want the manual pay for the thing, if not, I'll find someone else who will buy it." Lesson learned, no more business from me! I have to tell you, this is probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. The incompetence, lack of honesty, and general attitude has left me with a poor taste in my mouth, and so, buyer beware!

That's just wrong. I guess the days of dealers caring about customers is long gone.

You have to wonder where the owner's manual for your bike went to in the first place. I think I would have reminded them that I purchased the bike from them recently, and if there had been a manual with it in the first place you wouldn't be in the position of needing a new one this soon.

Unlikely that I'll be buying a bike in that neck of the woods anytime soon, but I'll steer clear of them

.... I bought my Wee from them and they couldn't find the manual or keys....

Sounds like when I got my Wee, except they left the keys at the other dealership that they got the bike from. How do you get a bike but forget the keys??? I however got the manual for free, but had to wait 3 weeks for it.

Motorcycle Mall is one of the worst run dealerships I have ever encountered. They do have a great selection and almost everything is in stock, but that is their ONLY asset; their service SUCKS. The employees are all too busy to care about you at all. I brought my bike in for what should have been a 2 week service, but had to keep it there for over 6 weeks! All because the service department was backed up and refused to work on the bike until all parts were available. To make matters worse, the service/parts department LOST (that's right, LOST) 2 different parts on 2 different occassions. Then, they lied about it and said that the parts never showed up in the mail! This kept delaying getting my bike back. Nobody there cared about my situation whatsoever. I will never go back to this dealership again and I hope you decide to go elsewhere.

Beautiful irony when you look at Motorcycle Mall's front page.
