after market exhaust?

Any one added an after market exhaust with the givi side bags. I was wondering if u had to reroute anything or would it just fit. If u did what did u buy? I have a 05/650.

I just put teh Remus Carbons on my 1000. Simple bolt on installation. Went with carbon, as they are supposed to transfer less heat., so was less like;y to affect my Givi bags. They sound awsome, and radiate a minimal amount of heat. You can actually lay your hand on them after a 3 hour ride. There are many excellent aftermarket exhausts out there.

I have Givi luggage and a Scorpion exhaust. It is pretty easy. I even mounted mine with the luggage racks already mounted.

Hey has anyone taken the baffles out of the stock pipes and if u did what did it sound like. I am goin to do mine and i will post after i do and let u know. I am guessing it might sound like a tractor. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have a set of Staintunes on my dl1000 w/ Givi hard bags and have had no problems with heat damaging the bags. Sooooooooooo go for it!!!

Ummmmm, not able to take baffle out, someone welded screws in. sooooo....
