Getting sparse in Indiana, but I have a small family that lives near my house in a bluebird house.
I shot these last week. A baby fell out which got my attention. I set up a chair, grabbed the D70 with the 200 lens and hung out for about an hour.
While I was shooting the birds, a black snake was lurking around the base of the bird box just waiting for a baby bird to fall out. The adult blue birds were dive bombing me, but stopped when I put on my Tilley hat. The snake was getting bombarded too, so it went under my Disco, which was about 10' from the bird box.
