Great shot there Shepherd. I did that road several times on my Volusia but not yet on the V-Strom. The last time I did it, I was coming out of a turn pretty quickly, and a black bear came charging out of the bush right in front of me. :shock: I slammed on the brakes a bit too hard and fish-tailed a bit but managed to slow enough to miss the bear. He never paused or looked back.

I've heard good things about that road - haven't made it up there though.

We did a trip to the 507 and elephant lake road - wow! That's a hell of a road especially for southern ontario. Highly recommended!

I agree. I did that route last Friday and it was one of the most enjoyable trips I've done in a long time.

Here is a shot coming up hwy 74 in NC, called Hickory Nut Gorge.

Has anyone seen and image of a v-strom rider dragging a knee?

Nice Helmet! I wish scorpion had some of the bomber plane pin-up girl graphics on their helmets. I would be the first one in line to purchase one.
