Need recommendations for Austin-Corpus loop

I'm planning on riding to Corpus in two weeks and wondered if any one had a recommended route with nice back roads. I'm leaving Austin in the morning, would like to ride for 5-6 hours. It would be fun to make a loop somehow for the way back home the next day, say on the West side of 37. I'm open though. Let me know if you have any recommendations. Just trying to make it a little more interesting than hiway the wholeway.

How about this route (any comments?):

183 South out of Austin to 90A (East)

90A to 77 South

77 to Refugio

Refugio to 35

Take 35 thru Rockport, cross 361 to Port Aransas

Cross into Corpus, eat, chill, ride back.


Did I miss anything? Just wondering how the roads are
