Handguards

Today I got my bike back from the shop.

Successfully installed
1] a cig lighter
2] a power socket for my GPS- poorly planned and needing changes
3] a JD socket for electric vest
4] a Vista cruise throttle lock [required a tiny fabricated bracket]
5] a set of Emgo Hand guards- cost $60 Canadian- same as I used on my DR650-
required a tiny 1.5 inch extension so it would clear the brake lever
mechanism.

I've got pics but need a place to post them.

PS also got a smaller Technic magnetic tank bag that looks like it will work
well and CHEAP at $70.

Didn't realise they were available in silver ....

The guards seem to fit well. They seem to be more for brush protection then wind protection. Do they provide much wind protection?

Also any idea where the shop got power for all the sockets?

The US got Blue and black. Canada got blue and silver.

Yes the guards are the same as I used on my DR650. They DO block the wind, but should also prevent broken fingers if I get daring off road [or rocks get flung up on the highway.]

He ran wiring right off the battery and installed a separate fuse block and relay. he knows I'll end up adding more stuff, I always do.
