Father's day mini-ride

We have some wonderful, scenic riding here in Arizona. And it gets hot here in the summer. I hit the road at ~6:45 this morning and put a few miles on my newly-destickered plastic maggot.

Loving this motorcycle! The Genmar bar-backs are a huge improvement for me. I'm not a big guy at 5'9 155 and the reach was a bit much. I think if I add a throttle lock of some sort, I'll be good for all day riding.

I know Gates Pass pretty well! I spent four great years in Tucson going to the U of A. I remember one hike my friends and I went on around Gates Pass. I'm walking along, minding my own business, and all of a sudden, BAM! A Jumping Cholla decides to lodge a piece of itself into my calf. Man, that was noooooo fun.
