I'm coming from a KLR650 that I bought new a year ago, and mostly had work done at dealers in the Austin area due to the fact I had a warranteed bike. However, it hasn't really got too well but I won't go there.
Now I have a used 05 DL650. I know I should do my own wrenching and all, but for stuff like checking the throttle body sync, throttle sensors, etc. Or some of the stuff related to "remapping"?.. is there any shop around Austin that's recommended?
I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest, but just honest and reasonable. And, preferably someone who really knows the v-strom bikes. Doesn't need to be a dealer since it's a used bike and no warranty left.
