It seems as if my chain gets extremely loose after about 2,500 miles. I will admit that i do ride aggressivly, but this seems to be a bit "agressive".
Any thoughts? Are you experiencing a similar frequency?

I've only adjusted my chain about 4 times in 15,000 miles. I adjust it at about 1" slack and clean it every 1000 to 2000 miles.

I haven't had to adjust it yet. 4300 miles. Started out cleaning/lubing it at 500 mile intervals but have since gone to 1000. I am now thinking of maybe only at oil changes.
I am pretty easy on the bike though. I haven't hit the redline yet.

What the heck are you waiting for open her up and see what she'll do. You need to get her broken in.

Having ridden a Harley for many years I still can't get used to a motor that revs past 6k RPM. Also, I am doing 4k at 70mph so, other than dropping a gear or two, how am I supposed to use the upper rev band?
Seriously though, I have seen 8k or so but seldom.
Did I mention that I also get pretty damn close to 50 mpg? :)
Hard acceleration will slacken it. I lube mine every 300 miles with castrol chain wax. Little and often does the trick. Tightened it once in 2800 miles, And i drive it like i stole it !

I lube it at the end of everyday of riding, I've had to adjust it twice in 4000miles (2 up high speed riding)
