Decided to venture out about 4:30 last night for a run...
Headed out 8 East from Alpine, down to Ocotillo first. Not too bad, about 95 degrees, but blowing 20-30 mph.

From there I called my buddy Jim and asked him to head out of Ramona and meet me at Scissors Crossing, then I headed up S2 North.
Very windy and gusty, at times leaning a good 20-30 degrees into the wind to stay on track.
Amazingly, after about an hour up S2, Jim and I arrived at EXACTLY the same time! Couldn't do that again if we tried.

After that we zipped up 78 to Julian, then down through Santa Ysabel and on to Ramona.
Jim peeled off in Ramona and I headed down 67, cut across Lakeside to grab the 8 and then back home.
4 hours overall and 175 or so miles. Great ride on the Wee!
