Headed out this afternoon for a little 160 mile jaunt. A little hot out today (mid-high 90's) but still lot's of fun.
Zipped out of Alpine down into Lakeside to catch Wildcat Canyon Road up in to Ramona to meet my buddy Jim on his KLR.
We met a Packards Coffee House. Here's the bikes and Jim:

Then we headed up HWY 67 to Santa Ysabel because I was overdue for some of Dudley's fine bread and fruit bars. :D

From there we grabbed 79 West, then spilt off on to Mesa Grande, which wraps back down and lands on the 76.
We then zipped up East Grade (S7) to the top od Palomar Mountain so we could cool off at Mother's Kitchen. I had a chocolate shake. 8)

From there we went down the West side of Palomar Mountain, then grabbed 76 East back to Santa Ysabel.
This is where Jim headed back down to Ramona (wimp) as I ventured back up the 78 into Julian for a break.

After that, I grabbed the 79 down through the Cuyamaca mountains back to Interstate 8, and down the hill to Alpine.
4 hours of great fun!
