R.O.T. Rally? Anybody going?

I will be riding to Arlington this Saturday (5/27), then hooking up with my brother and his cruiser buddies for a ride down to the ROT Rally Thursday through Sunday.

I hope to ride RR336 and RR337 while I' down that way. They're supposed to be two of the best in Texas.

I also hope to get some sausage from Southside Market and BBQ in Elgin. I miss that more than anything I think.

Anybody plan on being in the area sound off. I'd like to meet you.

If you are around on Tuesday night, we usually have a Meet & Greet with http://www.twtex.com folks somewhere in Tarrant County. Visitors are welcome.

It's actually FM336 and FM 337 - Farm-to-Market roads. Along with FM335, they make up the "three sisters" in the Kerrville area - some of the best riding in Texas.

Not sure you will like the ROT rally - stay alert & be careful since there are usually several fatalities every year (kurt1305 is an EMS in Austin and has firsthand knowledge).

Thanks for the input. I have been here all week but did not have internet access untill today. Sorry I missed the meet and greet. It's been a great trip so far even though I parctically rode sideways all the way here. Those cross-winds were fierce. Headed for austin in the AM. I'll let you know how it goes.
