clutch noise

Just had the bike out and noticed a fair bit of ticking that seems to be clutch related. It sounds very much like a valve ticking but seems to disappear when you pull in the clutch. You can hear it when acclerating through the gears. but not if you rev the engine while stopped. Just wondering if this is normal for the 650 or not.

I just put on the first 50 miles on mine and did not hear any noise.
I am a little concerned about the gear box. Up shifting requires too much attention. Had problems getting into 3rd a few times. I'll see how it goes.
